ASOS Review – How & What to Buy, Tips, Coupons and more

Founded in 2000, ASOS is a British online retailer primarily aimed at young adults. The retailer stocks over 850 brands, including a number of its own ranges – it’s like an online department store.

ASOS has several key beliefs such as the importance of body positivity, ensuring they stock a wide variety of sizes, nurturing young talent and reducing the impact of their fashion on the planet.

Although they have been criticised as a fast fashion brand, they have an Ethical Trade Strategy designed to prioritise transparency, improve wages and identify and stop child labour as well as a Sustainability Strategy which aims to ensure their materials are ethically sourced.

ASOS has partnered with the British Paralympics Association and provides the Paralympics GB Team with their formal and ceremonies outfits.

Plus, the ASOS Foundation, which achieved full charity status in 2013, offers disadvantaged, young adults training and support so that they can reach their full potential. They work with partners such as The Prince’s Trust and Centrepoint to achieve long term, sustainable change.

Asos – Product Variety and Quality

ASOS sells a wide variety of products, from designer brands like AllSaints and Calvin Klein, to other online only retailers such as Missguided to well known high street names like New Look, Topshop and Lush.

On top of this, the ASOS Marketplace retails over 700 boutiques and fashion start-ups, so you can find something even more unique. The quality of products does vary, because they come from a variety of different retailers.

However, ASOS has a feature that allows you to see other people’s reviews, including whether the fit runs small, large or normally and what the quality of the product is.
